I am a figurative ceramic sculptor, who has lived and worked in the foothills of Western Oregon for 30 years. Karen Russo Studio is located within 10 minutes of Oregon Country Fair.
My ceramic sculptures are a tapestry of form, texture and color. My subjects are women of varying ages, origins and eras—embodied in maternal archetypes and natures adornment. By making this work, I hope to express an eternal optimism for the human spirit in this beautiful, delicate and chaotic world.
Oregon Country Fair is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization & host of an annual 3-day event in Veneta, Oregon, which takes place every July.
