Every year, Oregon Country Fair holds a dynamic summer gathering for up to 55 youth ages 14-18. Youth get to take part in a whole lot of high-energy, arts-centered workshops and activities. They also have the unique opportunity to learn from and create meaningful relationships with adult social change activists, artists and nature educators. A donation to Culture Jam will provide a scholarship to bring knowledge and joy to the heart of children.
This grant fund honors the memory of Jill Heiman, the Fair’s founding attorney. It supports tax-exempt organizations in Lane County involved in an annually selected focus area such as environmental protection or basic human needs.
The Endowment Fund is named in memory of Bill Wooten, the Fair’s visionary, community-minded co-founder Bill Wooten. Endowment Fund grants tangibly represent the Fair’s deep appreciation to our neighbors in the Fair’s home community. Endowment Fund grants reflect the spirit of the Fair by supporting youth-centered projects in the Fern Ridge community.
The mission of KOCF Fern Ridge Community Radio is to enhance the educational purpose and outreach of the Fair through partnerships and broadcasting relevant content to the community. By sharing the broadcast day, and presenting programming relevant to the local area, OCF continues to enhance its partnerships in the Fern Ridge community.
